Bean bags have been around commercially since 1969. The 'Sacco' designed by three Italian designers: Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini and Franco Teodoro. was essentially a bag full of polystyrene shaped like a chair which was dubber 'The shapeless chair'. Today bean bags are available in all sorts of shapes, colours and styles and are made from a plethora of materials from pvc to wool for indoors and outdoors use.
There is no better feeling than lounging around in a large, soft, comfortable bean bag on a Saturday afternoon watching the telly.
